Cheers.

Thanks for that.

One of the best home pages i've seen for a while, never mind the sidestand bit!

Cheers.

[quote=phil_h]Or you could simply phone up nelly and ask to buy the standard ducati stand conversion widget, which is about £5

Cheers Phil, 'didn't know you could buy such a thing.

I had my 888 stand converted to a non-flip.

It's not perfect because I like to get on the bike while it's on it's stand in case I lose my footing or my stumpy little leg doesn't sling itself over the saddle properly. That leaves me with the bother of flicking the stand up with my foot, and because of the stand position it's really difficult to reach without double jointed ankles.

In some ways it was much easier when I rode Beancounters SP3, just sling yer leg over, pull the bike upright and off you go. Mind you it was always a bit of a 'hold your breath moment' when putting it back on the stand

Hi, just a word about yoyodyne when i tried to buy something from them, they kept me waiting for some weeks, then when i asked what was happening they said they wouldn't send out of the USA unless i opened a FED EX account, which would have cost quite a few £'s, so i bought the parts elsewhere. They also failed to answer 3 or 4 e-mails, all in all i thought they were pretty poor to deal with!

Probably just my ignorance, but did all the 851/888 bikes have a flip-up sidestand? My SP3 hasn't - should it? Not that I'd change it.
