Bst Carbon Wheels

hI ALL THINKING OF GETTING A PAIR OF THE BST CARBON WHEELS TO REPLACE THE STANDARD marchesini brembos fitted on my 996r.

Am I going to see a difference on the road or a track day. What do you guys think. Ive done everthing to the engine that I want to do.

Mood: on the back wheel !!
Carbon wheels for the road ??? its generally frowned upon, due to the possibility of damage due to our lovely road surfaces.
You may well see a difference due to the unsprung weight, but spending money on a set of wheels may well be better spent on track days.
there's nothing wrong with the marchecini's.

dont waste your money

Mood: Found a CR250. Let the bone braking begin
don't know if you would notice the difference like you would if going from a set of old 3spokes from the 916 series bikes to carbon
I think the standard 996R wheels are fairly light any way
I use the Dymag carbon items and I love them.
if you can afford them just get them.

Wot Keefer said, you'll really notice a difference I have Marchi' mag on the 888 and Dymag carbon on the SB8. Huge gap.

Easier turn, much less gyro. Only down side is more sensitive to side winds
