749s touring

wanna tour scotland again on the 749s, but i cant help feeling there might be a few problems.
first of all where can i keep my luggae, i dont like riding with a backpack.
and the only sports rack i can find is for the standard exhaust system it seems.

Tank Bag? The DP item is expandable, you can take a fair bit in that.
An alternative would be to contact Ventura for advice. I like their luggage rack system but I have a standard exhaust on my 999S.

Wave

I recently did a weekend in scotland on the 749R and used a DP tank bag it held just enough for my weekend Friday to Monday.

It looks like the 749R is going very soon so the bag will be surplus to requirements If your interested send me a U2U.

Regards

DaveO

Wave I think the kit for the mono and biposto are different? I can't remember to be honest, but I think the brackets just attatch at the same point the subframe connects to the main part of the frame. The kit supplies new (longer) bolts for this. That's pretty much all there is to the kit... No connecting to the exhaust...

No normal exhausts. The mounting of the Ventura system should not be a problem as it attaches where the subframe does and does not use the lugs on the exhausts.
