My normal local dealer rang today and said that i could have the owners 749R that he has ordered for himself as i have been a good customer in the past.
He offered £6000 for my cbr 600rr ( 04/04 ) and that is standard except for my number boards and seat cowl plus £1000 discount on the 749 R which makes it £7000 for my bike. (It stands me £6500 like this ) so £500 profit.
This means that i can sell my other parts which would be,
F +R Braking wave discs
Power Commander 111 usb
Carbon no plate holder
Carbon heel plates
Arrow steering damper
Arrow gp twin exhaust
Db Screen
Digi gear indicator
Corbin seat
Slipper clutch
15t Sprocket

I think i can get £1500 - £1700 realistically for these parts so i would in effect be getting £8500 - £8700 for my bike which is about what i paid in total.
So about £5000 to swap- What do you think or do i need ask ?

Do you think i will get this offer elsewhere, I rang woods and a guy called Steven is getting back to me but whether he can beat this deal i do not know.

It would be easier if someone took the bike as is to save me selling separately but i have not got much time now as i am going off to cyprus on saturday so either way it will have to wait until my return !

Go for it , every one tells me the 749R is the daddy !
Check out what you get on a 999R compared with the 749R , take the price and power out and look what you have left.
Slipper clutch , Radial Brakes and magnesium , carbon fiber , titanium etc.

Im on the look out for one , they are getting harder to find.

Right.
Latest update.

Have been ringing loads of dealers this week and the price to change at the 3 dealers i found a 749R at varied.

All of them told me to take all the bits off my Cbr600RR and sell them separately.

Woods wanted £8000 to change ( £5600 for my bike ?)
Ducati Leeds £7800 to change (£5800 for my bike )
Ducati manchester £7600 to change (£6000 for my bike )

I thought that all of these were poor prices considering i was looking at a £13600 bike but they all quoted rarity on the Ducati.

At the local dealer ( who is on holiday ) i saw another salesman and he sort of confirmed that they will give £6800 for my bike leaving £6800 to change if they get the bike they are waiting for.

This apparently was acheived by giving £6000 for my bike with £800 off the Ducati.(figures keep changing )

So at this price i can get roughly £1600 + for my Honda parts meaning the bike will have cost £5200 to change.

I will have to wait until monday to see the head salesman when he returns and he is going to chase things up.

I have got until monday to think ! about it.

Should i go for it ?
