Rare Rad required

Bit of a long shot this as a back up if my SP4S rad is non-fixable.
I'm after a Toyo 81404 888 SP4S rad. Yeah I can hear you laughing now.
Toyo (Now known as T.RAD) don't make 'em anymore.
It's not the same as the 916 version and I can't cut the fan lugs off the 888 standard rad because 1. I want to keep the bike original, 2. It's a different rad.

A while ago one of the DSCers put some info' my way, but as usual I can't remember who or where. Baines/Cornerspeed/whoever. Any clues?

It's the only bit now stopping the total rebuild of the bike. The rest of it is pretty much sorted, and it's looking good.

Latest pix are on the 'other' site under the Ains' SP4S blog thread.

later then.

Ains.

Pace Products at Silverstone?

They list a bunch of Ducati stuff on http://paceproducts.co.uk/php/produc...orcycle/ducati

However, they also built a custom rad for Marchesini's trick Monster that was cheaper than the OEM model.

Could be worth a shout unless you are insistent on total originality

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago
Docking Radiators at Silverstone are worth a try, also mentioned it may be worth checking with Baines Racing of Silverstone to see if they have had work done by Docking, I'm told they did the rad on my 955 Corse

If it's the curved rad, i can't help. Sorry. If it's the earlier flat rad, then i have a brand spanker still in it's box.
If you do have a curved one, then the chances of finding a new one are slim to non existant. Have a chat to the people mentioned above and get a new core fitted. That'd be my rec'

Steve/Phil. Have sent off for the Toyo tag on both.
Fingers crossed.
Thanks guys.
Was also informed the 996RS is the same, but I don't know about that. We'll have to see.
