Question 748 click sound at throttle?

Hello fellow Duc riders.....Wondering if some might have the same thing with there bike? I have a 1998 748 with 15,000 miles on her, I have owned here for about 3 months, runs awsome after having the valves adjusted & tuned,
but I have noticed, I have found that if I hold the throttle at around 2200 rpm
after a few seconds I here a "click" down at the front of the engine and feel it through the throttle grip, the throttle acctually slips alittle when this "click" sounds? Is this something that is normal & shouldn't worry?

Thanks for your time.
cheers

A common(ish) problem with Dukes that are not quite running correct.

If your bike is fairly standard then you should be able to get rid of this problem with a bit of fettling at your next service.

My old 748 used to do it a little from time to time...and now my 916SP has started it too...must be me!
