service costs 851

Can anybody give me advice on options of where to go for a service on 851 in N.West.?

Needs

Oil and coolant change

Shims setting ( After reading horror stories of broken rockers )

Belt change

Any ideas on costs would be appreciated

Have used Woods of Abergele in the past and must say they have been very helpful

I'd use Woods again if you're happy with them...

Yep, stick to Woods or if you want to use an independant then go to Cornerspeed in Nottingham

When I bought my 888 recently I had it fully checked and serviced at Baines Racing, it cost 700 quid including a new battery so say about 600 quid for the service (the cost was shared between the selling dealer and myself).

It's the cost of doing the shims that's the killer, it takes hours. Got to be done though.

Thanks guys

Looks like it's either sell the katana or add to the mortgage

Wonder if the missus will notice? I could always say that the interest rate has gone up
