The bike for sale with couchcommando I had arranged to go and view/buy but it has been sold.

Spec

Engine from a year 2000 Monster 600, with 8500 miles on it, not to be mistaken for a well thrashed Ex race bike as this bike has only recently been built it has NEVER been raced and has only done two track day sessions at Brands, thats two sessions not two trackdays.

Carbs are fitted with a Dynojet kit, I will need to check which air filter is fitted

Pipes are standard down pipes with Hi Level Sil-Moto cans

Forks are from a 750SSie and have the oil level set for track use, these are mounted in SS yokes that give less trail than the standard Monster yokes.

Bars are Spondon Alloy Clip-ons

Front wheel is the latter type to match the forks, currently fitted with a single aprilia disc but a second matching disc is included as is the second 2-pin 65mm fitting front caliper.

Carbon front fender and Carbon Bellypan, seat is a japanese market race unit.
Rear shock is standard and the suspension hoop has been extended to give more ground clearance and quicker steering
Rear wheel is the standard early type

NOTE The pics have it with different wheels in it and a reverse pattern lever, where as now it has a gear likage and is currently running road pattern

Rearsets are modified 748/916 footrests fitted to home made dural adapter plates

Modified so that no key is required, so no need to worry about loosing the key or leaving it behind

All engine and frame numbers intact, can't recall year of the frame but I do have the V5

As I told Ben from Classic Bike who rode it at Brands in the above Spec and with the Scitsu included I'm asking £1650, if I remove the Scitsu and swap the exhausts to low level race cans I'd be asking £1450

I am interested in the bike, would it be available after the racing at Angelsey if I brought my van and cash?

Yes
I did say to Ben that I was intending to sell it but wouldn't try to hard until after Angelsey

I'm in Oxford so if you find yourself up this way over the next few weeks your welcome to pop around and check it out, just give us a call on 07956 271131 beforehand

It's not the size of the dog in the fight that matters, but the size of the fight in the dog.
