I might have convinced my brother-in-law, Mike Belcher to come down.
He's only done 1 track day though, and thought it was a complete fiasco.

He'll have to go in the fast group though

Well, he has raced at the manx on a h***a sp1

And he's interested in doing dd next year

I'm starting to really look forward to this now. Looks like October is the new August. Weather looking good. Just need to avoid any truly reckless behaviour (but that's a given any day of the week) and I'm expecting large helpings of fun in the form of Butch890's Monster what he is bringing for me to have a go on.

YEAH Bring it on

Griff, there are still loads of places so turn up on the day with your licence (and other stuff too !)
Posting your intention here at least lets the organising heros know how many to expect.

If all the people who have said they will turn up on the day do-it will be £20 cashback time for everyone-which has GOT to make it a cheap Brands day.

I currently have
15 spaces in Novice
13 spaces in Inter
15 spaces in Fast

So as you can see loads of space-funny how equall the groups all are.

Phil,

Not trying to put a damper on your brother in law's enjoyment but...
since he appears to be a racer, could you make sure that he is aware that a trackday is not a race.
I was on a Brands evening the other week and it was full of club racers who hadn't quite grasped the fact that most people were there to have fun...NOT to race and make agressive moves on fellow riders.
I was nearly put onto the grass by somebody nicking my line into Surtees. Whilst I'm sure that type of move is fine during a race, I didn't appreciate it on a trackday!

Anyway...let's all have fun out there tomorrow!
