Can't wait for the look on my manager's face when I hand my notice in.

Just wish the other company would pull their finger out and offer me the job!

Well, I had the pleasure at staying at what would have to be the nicest house in England - chez MW and Lizzie last night. Woke up at 9:30 and did a call with the programme manager in bed at 9:40.

Got out of bed and took the laptop upstairs and connected to mw's broadband and did some work, conference call at 10:30, did some docco .. mw came home from his meeting and brought me coffee and donuts (true story!!!) and we watched about 15 minutes of the cricket. mw had a client meeting so I was on my merry way and did the road from Tunbridge Wells to East Grinstead on the 998R and just moseyed through some other roads before heading up to the M25 and filtered my way back to the M3. Some clown in a Saab thought he was quick after I went past him on the exit of the M25 to the M3 at about ... err .. 70 of course ... so he came flying past me after I slowed down on the straight bit ... I sat behind him for a while until he nearly had an accident at which point I just slowed right down and cruised home.

Fuel light came on at 140miles and I've just gotten home and gotten the laptop out. The kids are having a little picnic on the lounge room floor and I've got the cricket on .... I'm starting to think about a beer now .... maybe gym first and then a beer .... decisions decisions ...

What are these M numbers? Are they preferred biking roads? :P

My day..

1. get in a carry on fighting the fire after a certain 3rd party company killed 15 servers (10,000 users) after running some synchronisation agents.

2. Answered countless calls regarding this and other issues

3. Went down to a nice country pub at lunch

4. Surfing

5. Getting ready for the weekend.

Tonight's jobs...

Change sprockets
Change oil
Remove clutch, clean and regrease bearings/ramps
Remove back wheel ready for new tyre in the morning.
And Relax

that's nice of you.... but why didn't you call in and offer to whisk me out of the office for a coffee on your way home?

Oh, and just thought of it, if you could see as far as Michael's left arm with your dark visor on last night, he was pointing at the Oakdene Cafe (Kent's meeting place) 10 mins or so after leaving Brands last night....

Yes I did see that, one of the few things I saw ... the only other thing was a feint red light in front of me ... which was Michael's brake light!

Had a strange day, helping out by answering phones on reception (we all mucked in, cos receptionist is on hols!)

Been emptying a few records boxes from Archives into shredding bags

Went to lunch with girls from Accounts - office manager gatecrashed- but then paid for all of us on company visa
(wish I had had a glass of vino now)

Now surfing the net, cos am able to:P

Going out tonight with AK to dinner at Harley & his mrs Jo's house, she is the bestest aussie cook in the world

Looking forwards to a complete social w/end- complete with my hubbie for a change

light breakfast at 08.30
few drawings and e mails
lunch at 12.50 watched cricket until 13.45
worked in between watching this message board and Aussie wickets falling.

Now thinking about going downstairs to polish bike for trip to Brands, i I do love working from home especially on a Friday in the summer.

Today I.....

1. Tested my configuration for inter-company transfers within the same country in SAP. [zzzzzzzzzz].

2. Ordered a clutch pressure plate, caps and springs from Nelly (nice one mate).

3. Left work early and got on a plane.

4. Arrived in Gatwick and got on a train.

5. Arrived in Croydon and got in a taxi.

6. Arrived here and now waiting for Ocado to deliver some shopping before I go next door and get drunk in my local.

Sweet.

Ade.
