Web Team - help & advice please - attachements
I have just converted my two pc's so they share a single DSL connection through a Netgear router/firewall. Now, when I post attchements, they seem to take an age (sometimes timing out alltogether) Can't send emails with attachments either.

Most everything else works well, including normal posts, such as this one.

TIA.

Rgds, Rob

Hmmmm....I'm using a Netgear firewall/router as well and dont seem to have problems doing that.

The netgear site has a pretty good Q&A section.

The probs I've had was with a game my daughter used to play over the net that now crashes out regardless of the gaming options I've selected and my inability to share a printer connected to the network - ho hum.

Good luck - Frank

Yes Rob - Zonealarm f/wall and AVG anti-virus.

Everything else I need to do on the laptop (now) and main PC all work fast and fine. Network is wireless and uses the WGT624 router.
It all configured itself really.

Is it a new router? or did you use it previously with just one machine?

Used it for months (the router/firewall) on a separate dsl line, and my pc (the one with the issue) all worked OK until I started running it across the LAN.

If the issue is with only one PC it would seem to point to config with just that machine. I take it sending email/attachments from your other PC is OK?
