lap timer

anyone know how to get the lap timer to give a read out? It records fine, but everything I try to read the figures afterwards just swaps between the other functions or starts the bike - i.e. any combination of buttons 1 and 2 or the starter button. Anyone used it with success?

when you have finished your run/laps. turn the bike off. and then hold down the right hand button before you turn the ignition on. as soon as you have turned the ignition on release the button and it should be in readout mode. be careful not to keep the button pressed for more than 10 sec otherwise it will clear your times. then just use the left hand button to scroll through the laps. the top speed it gives you is 'true speed'. the speedo actually over reads by about 10%. had 157 true speed on mine so far on a private road. still more to go should see real 165 +.
