Newbie 916 Insurance Question????

I currently own a monster M600 and am thinking about adding a 916 to keep it company, has anyone got a rough idea of how much extra insurance i'll be in for being 30 and riding nearly 3 years????

Cheers in advance,

Shandy

Hello Shandy

Best ring your insurance company, they would be best to give you an idea!

That was the plan for today but it relied on me remembering to bring their details to work, the word muppet springs to mind for some reason, i was after a rough sort of idea of cost if anyone knows.

Cheers,

Bear in mind that 916 types are group 17 bikes (out of 17 groups) whereas your monster is around group 12 or 13.
What they'll do is insure you for the 916 as the most expensive item and your monster as a second bike, you'll be in for a bit of a hike whatever but many people do that.
Try these,I had 3 Ducatis insured for the road at one time with them.

Thanks for the advice will give ducati insurance and my current company a go in the morning.

If i can get the insurance for both somehwere near the £400 mark looks like i'll have to buy, well it would be rude not to do it!!!

Cheers,

Shandy
