Has anyone heard of Ashton Performance? 853 kit

Hi,
Has anyone heard of or more importantly got contact details for Ashton Performance in Hull?

I looking at a 748 Bip that's got a Fast by Ferraci 853 kit - the owner says that it was fitted by Ashton Performance in 2002 but I can't find any contact information for them.

Don't want to buy the bike before speaking to them. Need to know the impact the 853 kit has on spares (US imports?) and servicing.
I know Sigma do one, so I'm guessing it must be similar.

Cheers

Don't know of Ashton, but Ferraci kit is top quality.
Servicing is no different in reality to a normal bike. If needed, headgaskets from 916's or ST4's are used.
Ferraci parts should be easy enough to get a hold of, even if you go directly to them in the US.

Might be putting 2 and 2 and coming up with 5698 but Jasper on here used to own an 853 kitted 748 by Ashton performance centre. he sold it a while ago maybe the same bike up for sale again.....................maybe

The bike had all sorts of other mods like a trick dash but I don't know if that all came off before Jasp sold it.

If that is all complete rubbish it means I have been out in the sun too long today.

Really? Is his member name or real name 'Jasper'? I'll send him a U2U.

Thanks to everyone that replied to this thread.
Unfortunately I didn't win the bidding on Ebay - tried and failed to get a bid in yesterday.
It was Jasper's old bike!

Better luck next. 853's are rare indeed though!

I concur with the above Dean Ashton was heavily into duc's a few years back,then into R7's,now zx10's & the like,well respected,with the spanners,and as a racer,so you'll be ok there !
