Any points he comes away with could make a big difference at the end of the year. I doubt he's expecting 2 wins.

He is following in a long line of racers getting out there when they really shouldn't-Mick Doohan rode the NSR 4 weeks after having his leg so badly broken it had to be stitched to the other to give it a blood supply and save it. He could hardly move, had to invent thumb brakes, be lifted onto his bike, and apparently was still bleeding..............they're all MAD.

Mind you I can remember, back when I was a youth, in the plaster room having a new plaster put on left forearm asking the technician to leave my fingers free. Why says he? Because I won't be able to pull the clutch in otherwise says me, and I rode my bike down here...................I used to race sidecars back then-mad as a box of frogs.
