996 footrests

Hi,

My 996 standard footrests don't offer that much grip for my boots (with one pair they slide about all over the place). The bike has done 26,000 and they are clearly worn, but maybe they don't offer that much grip even when new.

Are there decent aftermarket ones that people swap them out for or is this something that people don't often experience or worry about?

Cheers
Simon

I sell these - they're replacement footpegs that flip up but have an offset mount on them so you can set them in one of 48 positions with 1" offset.

They work well and the knurling on them is really good so they grip well too!

Here’s what I did. Use a Dremel and a cut-off wheel tool to cut slots into the foot pegs. Leave the edges sharp.

That's a neat idea!
