Hi Jasper,

I cannot really help you on that but if you struggle to find the information then they may accept a written valuation from a club officer (eg Jools?). Are you with Footman James? I am and I seem to remember the threshold for the requirement for independent valuation is £5k. Even my lowly Strada is not far off that mark now so this may become a more universal problem if values continue to climb and they keep the same threshold. 'Classic' Ducatis seem to fall into a bit of a hole re valuations as there is not really a club just for them like there is for Japs (eg the VJMC has its own valuation officer).

Keith

Hi Keith,

I have an agreed value of £13k,with the Mag wheels,Ohlins forks and Carbon bodywork included.I know a few "premium" car dealers and bike dealers have had SP5's for sale recently,I just can't find the links!

I have had this problem with my collection for a few years now. In part even though I have owned them for many years the values of the old ones keep going up. My 750 GT has doubled in value in the last year, because the Yanks have realised how good they are.

I am with Footman James and they have accepted a written valuation from the DSC to cover the 18 of them.

Let me know if you need a letter let me know.

Hi Rich,

Here's one link that I remembered:

http://ps-pt.com/VehicleSearch.aspx?Make=Ducati

I do seem to remember a uk specialist seller but I'm damned if I can recall the link / website.

Cheers - Frank

Yep, it's worth £43.50 Jasp, but don't worry, I suppose I could find £50 to take it off your hands if that does you a favour
