Got an update...Just picked up my bike from the shop for getting it tuned. It actually has a flat spot still in it around the 5-6,800 rpm range. I think it was there before the system but not as dominant. This engine loves to be reved up higher than what I was used to and the exhaust aggrivated that. Engine runs incredibly smoothe though and throttle response is spot on everywhere. Guess I could drop the money for a PC3 later on if it gets on my nerves enough. Funny thing is, you really only feel the flat spot bad if you just hammer it from the take off. If you roll into it as the rpm's climb, it seems like you can just about sneak past that flat spot. Oh well, guess you can't have everything.

It does kinda make me wonder what exactly the new ECU was good for then? I wonder how it would have ran with the stock ECU left in her and tuned accordingly? This sucks, because I'm the type thinking about the "what if's" will drive me crazy...I'll constantly wonder if the stock one could possibly be better?????????? Someone make me feel better about it please!!!
