Mods and rockers

Forgive me for my ignorance but browsing thro the various sections of this forum the words rockers and wear seem to come together a lot. Could this effect my 999 engine or is it a problem throghout the 916 range only.
I have read all about it and understand the 3 main ways it can be eleviated. Should i get be getting them looked at.
my bike is a 999bip only 1 year old and has only done 2000 miles.

My triple 9 is undergoing open heart surgery at the moment. I will let you know if the cams and rockers are ok in a couple of weeks time.

Mine has 3K on the clock.

Following a strip down I can confirm that my rockers and cams were all in perfect order at 3000mls.

Thanks Madmav
Its getting better all the time with this new bike. Still will warm it up for the 90 sec rule tho' just in case.
While we are on the subject of rockers, is there anyone out there that can tell me about setting rocker timing as ive read about it on a number of sites. Maybe i should start a new thred with this one!!.
