999 electrics

I picked up my 999s on Saturday and its great but today the rear indicators started flashing hazard style and nothing would persuade them not to! Has anyone else had this problem? Can anyone suggest something? Thanks.

Perhaps it's the pre-emptive breakdown warning lamps.
Are you sure they aren't connected to the engine management light?

Sorry, not had that error before.

Mood: is it the weekend yet??
just unplug the rear light unit wiring, its the connector at front right hand side of sub frame, that'll stop them blnking

put it on the list of things to do at first service, you do have the list started don't you

welcome to the 999 initiation test by finding the DSC forums you've passed it.

Aw come on lads, it's not all that bad. Try to be positive (gettit? electrics...lights...positive ).

Rossco,
are the lights flashing faster than normal,
is it JUST the rear lights,
could there be water in the connector under the exhaust area

Thanks guys most of that could be very helpful, I will try the connectors today. They are blinking at normal speed by the way. 1st thing to do is disconnect them and charge the battery, its going in for a service as soon as I can book it anyway. I guess I'll get used to this I knew there were issues around the electrics but I'll try not to blow a fuse over it!
