996 big bore to where??

anyone done this? especially to an sps motor? make much difference & how much? worth doing? much involved? anything esle a must do at the same time? cost?

you can't increase the bore but you can stroke it out to 1026, give steve a call. he's is an animal! he is now putting it back on the road, just fitting a full carbon bodykit.

see if he'll let you take it out for a spin, it's silly fast!

cheers guys

what prompted the Q was Psychlists numpty and the difference it made on his, not being too techi myself (!) didnt know if it is something which has been done or is a good idea

must pop in and see you wilf, not been around for a while, work and all that! god be time for a service again soon too!!

Winter service prices start in November so good time for a service, sure we could do you a good deal on the 1026 conversion too! love doing trick stuff!!!

I think that Fast by Ferrachi also do a stroker crank to take it to 1026 or thereabouts.
