Tyres

Tyres - need some help from people wot know.

I'm taking the DD bike to Cartagena in Spain next month for four days. I would like to put some sticky tyres on it but am not sure which ones. I was thinking SuperCorsa's. Would anyone agree or are there any other suggestions? I can only afford to buy one set, so I need them to last for the time I am there. Is there a danger of going too sticky and overwhelming/working the suspension? Plus I know I'm limited with choice because of the skinny rear tyre that the wee bike uses. All suggestions welcome. (This is where I get every brand recommended to me!!!!!)

Oh and if you can tell me where I can get them cheap that would be good!

Cartegena is a big track for a DD bike. I took the 620 to Jerez this year and it got lost out there!!!
As for the tyres, I'd take a set of Diablos - they are what you race on and will put you in good stead for next year.

If you are determined to get stickier rubber, I'd go for the Diablo Corse tyre - then you'll get used to the profile if not the adhesive quality.

I would go for Super Corsa Pros with a SC3 on the rear and a SC2 on the front, or Race Tecs in RS3 rear and RS2 front.

I would use the tyres you race on. Why run anything else? Unless you're planning on using Supercorsas next season??

What if it rains? are you taking wets too?

Stick with the Diablos Doug. Don't confuse yourself with anything else

I'm easily confused, so I'll be using Diablos at Jerez next month (and Guadix in Feb - if I can find a bike)

Thanks Lord R and Dom. That's pretty much the conclusion I had come to. I'll just take a spare set of Diablo's in case I need them.
