Andy could you be a bit more specific, how do i go about these alterations, Also i'm 14stone 7lbs don't know what effect that has?(apart from altering the power to weight ratio). Would you keep the settings for road use?.
Suggest that if you are unsure, wait till the first track day, as most will have a suspension guru service, part with ~£40 and get it done for you. If you dont get it set up too hard, they should be alright for most road surfaces/conditions
The trouble is most of thoses suspensions guys arnt Ducati types. Now its all well and good making things harder or stiffer, but a Ducatis geometry is so adjustable they need to do a bit there to reap the benefit.
So Mr suspension man, if you dont have a ride height tool then your wasting your time............
I rode a std 999 at Silverstone this year, my feeling was, after doing it to mine, that it was crying out for up at the rear and down at the front, how much is up to you.
I went up to 248mm, ride height at the rear(on the tool), or max length of the tie bar, and then to a measurement of 186 from the bottom of the bottom yolk to the end of the fork stantion..........
