Smile last bike 998, looking at 848, advise please..

Hi all, my last duc was a lovely 998 ,which i regret selling so have been away from Ducatis for a long while but am looking at a 848 2008 , 3500 miles, about £7000.00 from Newcastle dealer , I understand the servicing is now a lot cheaper (£200-£275.00) per year which is great compared too 916-996-998 but should i expect it to be reliable ( i know the oldest question!) and are their any things to look out for? thanks all.....PS MY 996 went pop twice( warrenty rebuilds) 998 no probs...

Hi
I have always found (killer statement) mine reliable and I've had an 08 I did over 10k on n 18 months and an Evo Ive done about 500 on in the last year

For me, comfy for a Ducati sports bike, enough power for stupid but needs to be worked as it lacks that mid range torq punch, but best Ducati I have had by far. S much so I bought another

What Bradders said.

08 16k miles, best Duc I've ever owned (and I've had a few )
