Diablo

Went to watch the Pegasus meeting on sunday, as I used to race with them last year till i got took out & broke my leg(still pined & screwed) I managed to get my self the job of traveling marshall for the day.

So if any one was there, it was me on the yellow 748, back to the thread, I had a dragon evo on the front & a diablo on the rear, set at road pressures, 33 front, 36 rear, the diablo was great, did not move around at all, well planted, the track was cold & caused a bit of tear now & then but the diablo took it in its stride.

So if any of you are in doubt, try some.

Completely agree with Chris's comments - I've got Diablo's on my 748SPS and used them at Lydden & Donnington GP & they were superb (I was in the inters group) so If you're fast you may need the Corse's?

Great tyres especially mid corner

I'll third that,

Just replaced the horrible Michelins on my 996 with some Diablos, and they are lovely, nice profile and seem to heat up and grip really well.

Even though it was extremely cold yesterday, I had them scrubbed in and knee down within 20 miles. Very good tyres indeed.

Chris i'm currently running the same combination on my 916 and have been for a few months now, but only on the road, used them when I went to Popham a couple of months back with Karl as we went via the very wet road across the Downs between Newbury and Wantage, and I was also out that way again on Sunday in very cold conditions, i know you can't push as hard on the road as you can on the track, but I don't hang around and so far the tyres have performed brilliantly, can't wait to try Diablo Corsa's both front and back, should certainly be suitable for trackdays.
