TPS - help needed in SE London

Having spoken with Nelly he believes the issue with my bike may be a dodgy TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), does anyone close to me have the necessary knowledge and equipment to test ??

I'm a technical buffoon but beer and donuts on offer to anyone that can assist ....

Thanks for listening.....

Speak to Mitch at TecMoto and tell him I sent you.

He has a collection service, or may even come to you with the equipment? Worth a phonecall at least...

I had a similar problem with my 900ss a few months back - riding back from the Cadwell Track Attack was one of the worst rides of my life.

Took it to Ducati ProTeam in Wimbledon and they sorted it out for a couple of hundred Pounds. Good value I thought.

how long can you wait?

I probably have to come down in a few weeks time so could maybe come in the van rather than car and drop it back at Nelly's to get it checked?

the tps looks exactly the same as the weber attached to the throttle body and plenum of a ford 1985 rs turbo. I have the work shop manual knocking around somewhere which tells you how to identify a technical issue with the TPS. Basically (till i find the manual) you use a voltmeter to test resitance of the 3 contacts on the TPS whilst moving it slightly left or right (whilst still connected to the butterfly's) till you find the centre point.

Alternativly they were only £15 from ford . God forbid how much a ducati webber supplied one is ...add a zero?
