Datatool alarm - help please !!!

Hi all

Have a Datatool system 3 on the bike. It's started a bizarre ticking noise and playing up. Doesn't automatically arm and goes off when I do it manually.

It can be switched off and the bike started but the ticking stays. The bike battery appears fine.

Any thoughts would be grately appreciated.

Cheers

Marcus

Mood: R1's are better than Ducatis'
check the trip switch under the seat.... look by your ECU box... should be a little push button/connection type sensor thing.....

Sounds like it's switchin into service mode. I think they do the ticking thing to warn you they will not arm automatically

If you ring Datatool their service people are really helpful, when mine played up last year they told me how to dismantle it and replace the board, even though it was out of warranty. All done f.o.c.!
