996S - Brakes

Keep getting a juddering from the brakes on first application from high soeed in particular.....which reduces as the brakes are pulled on more firmly.

Anyone got any ideas....my first fear was warped discs.

The bike is still under warranty.....should this be covered ?

Any sensible comments would be much appreciated.

Defo a warantee job.....

......if it is warped disks, it ought to show up more so on heavy braking!!

Have you checked the pads?

SEP

I my experience of warped discs, when moving the bike around at slow speeds (e.g. in the garage), the lever will need "pumping" to get the pistons back from the point at which the warped discs have pushed to them out to.

Then again, you could just take a blase walk into your dealer and register it in your mind as an SEP (someone else's problem).

I have decided that SEP is the best route.

The bike will be going back to the dealers for some TLC under warranty.
