Suspension setup

I fancy getting someone to take a look at my suspension setup. Any recommendations in the South East?
I'm sure people will say the Trackday at Cadwell but I'm not sure that I'll be able to make that this year.

Thanks

Do you have any problems in particular?

Do you want to try on your own?

Not really. I just feel that being a Bip it's maybe not set up for solo riding and I just feel that it could be improved. I don't mind paying to get an "experts" opinion .

I'd recommend Mike Dawson at MDRacing in Leatherhead...he set up my 998s for me & it was superb at Brands...(electical probs to one side...:-)....just kidding Mike!!)

or 100% suspension who come along to the No Limits trackdays at Brands usually - less thorough & only £3-40 I think - but will be better than standard IMO

Thanks. I'll give MDRacing a call.

I've paid up to have suspension tweaked at a no limits track day, and it was deffo better for the the track but I revert to the original settings for the road.

You get a set up sheet that shows where you started and where you ended up.

The track settings are too hard (for my taste) for the road where the road surface, lumps and bumps are make for a wild ride on the track settings.

Ray.

I agree with Ray; the suspension on the 748 was way too hard for the road after having it setup for the track (where it was perfect) so I softened it right off.

If you want to go out and have a play, let me know. We can go out and ride it on some real roads and try the settings to get something better if you want... I've got plenty of free time right now

found this:

This is quite useful. Obviously best to get it done as stated at a track day of course.
