Ducati insurance

Just had a telephone quote for my bike(s) from Ducati insurance.
the quote for the 916 on its own was £259,not bad ,though not the cheapest I've had(So far £202.70).
Where they did surprise me was the quote for a second bike,my ss750,which took it up to £272,making the 750 only £13 to insure for the year.
I thought this was remarkably good as I've found multi-bike insurance a bit expensive in the past, this is for a 44 year old with over 5years NCB.
Anyone think I can do better?

Fantastic quote !

I pay twice as much to cover my 2 bikes which are not dissimilar to yours

However I did write off a brand new TL1000S a couple of years ago.....hasn't helped the premium....

GODDAMN!! You do NOT want to know what I have to pay for insurance! I DREAM of only paying that much for insurance.

A combination of only being in the UK for two years, TW1 postcode (not too bad I would have thought) and a modified 996 (exhaust, flywheel, a few othe bits and pieces ). But I have had a MC license for nearly 11 years and have 6 years no claims so I really think I should be getting cheaper insurance ...

Anyhoo .. I plan on trying to get it when this policy is up (August) although I have been considering seeing if I can get it cheaper before the end of the current policy - is this possible?
