Talking Service intervals

Whats this about the 2007 bikes having longer miles between servicing and it will be half the time ? What have Ducati done for this, re-engineered the bikes or told the dealers to stop taking so many tea breaks !!

Im thinking a quick release fairing ? Relocated battery ? Longer life between valve checks ?
