I guess at your age getting 'spare parts' for you must be as tough as one of those old bevels of bushells!!

It seems I am more popular than I deserve-I am deeply touched guys and girls-anyway I have been to see the consultant and the current prognosis is as follows:

It seems that the abrasion of the tendon was caused by the Ti plate put in my wrist 8 1/2 years ago after my little Brands incident.............
Anyway apparently I need to have the plate removed (which the Orthopod who put it in said wouldn't be needed since it will have to be cut off the bone). I will then need to have a piece of synthetic tendon inserted since the broken bit will be all frayed-this may be done in one opp or possibly in 2 seperate ones-lovely. The consultant also said that I will need a hand specialist or plastic surgeon to do the op since it is very specialist work. I am likely to be in plaster 2-3 months since tendons take a dam long time to heal-last time was 8-10 weeks and that was 25 years ago-ho hum...................

The elctrical problems are most likely just the power cable has detached from the alternator-so all I will need to do is get too it and then re-solder-no problem..............I hope.

John
