Hi All , Bike is 2004 S model so ohlins forks . What is the procedure for replacing the oil ? and what weight and make is recommended ? Thanks in advance .
It will no doubt be a Ohlins specific oil that is required/recommend. Need to ensure you discharge the oil from the dampers and make sure they are primed/refilled when setting the air gap
I did mine (Hyper forks) earlier this year and it was actually quite easy!
Hardest bit was compressing them down to put them back together again, covered in oil and everything is slippery!!!
I ordered oil from ebay (the owners manual had it in I think, but it may have been the workshop manual...) and had to buy a specific fork top tool from the states but it was about a tenner posted.
