Looking at a ST3 ABS

Going to look at A ST3 ABS model. What maintenance commitments are involved with having ABS on a bike ? On a car its really nothing unless a wheel sensor goes (£100 to £200 fix)
I dont really ride my bikes hard and tend to avoid riding in the rain so Im thinking the ABS would never actually cut in for me. Are there any other things you notice on a ABS bike, is the Ducati system reliable ?

Cheers

ABS is pretty trick and works well. If you don't like it you can turn it off. But you never know when you really need it and it does help. You can hit a patch of oil or water or sand or gravel or ice at anytime. Almost 5 years on mine and no problems yet.

There is a much cheaper solution for an ECU failure than on offer from a dealer - drop a PM to Antonye and he will save you a lot of money!
