Triple Nine

Well I will need a new AKA the 999 has gone and a Black Multi Strada is taking it's place.
Need to get Mrs Triple Nine on the back of a bike and it just wasn't going to happen on the 999 after the accident:(
So I've done the deal and the Multi will be in the garage next weekend, so any suggestions for a new AKA? Oh no did I really ask for your suggestions:lol:

Retiring gracefully, or upright and soft.

In the light of the level of your sacrifice in swapping the 999 for this Multi Strada so that Mrs Triple Nine can continue to enjoy your motorbiking prowess, I suggest "Knight in Shining Armour"
KISA for short. :bouncy:

So , that was one hell of a way to say farewell to an old friend Roy wanging around Rocky in the wet. Multiman sounds appropriate beings you,ve been through most of the Duke range. Strada1 , Blackstrada1, Roystrada1 or Loosewallet1,Barclaycardburner being even more appropriate  Good luck with Multi Roy Regards 4D
Oh no.....not another blender....good luck roy...bet your going to miss that 999 !!:D
HHHHHHhmmmmmmnnnnn
FUGLY????? is the only one (from the horses mouth that is) that springs to mind
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
At least you'll be able to ride it up the ramp into the van and if its got a centre stand, it shouldn't fall over;)

Well Roy, you certainly kept that quiet on Thursday night :o
Or did I drink too much, you told us about your MS, and I missed it more like :lol:
I think you've made a very wise choice. If that ever falls over in the van it'll destroy whatever's next to it :lol:
As for an AKA, the only thing I could think of that follows the Triple Nine theme would be
'Twin Thou'
'Twin DS'
or
'Twin MS'
You could try............... 'Screen Smasher' :P

Hi tripple Nine At least now you have got a proper road bike you won't be tempted to give up and only do TDs ;)
I think you may be surprised just how much fun you get out of MS
as for an AKA how about Strada Maestro ?

And my next one was going to be DestROYada :P
welcome to the numpty-club Roy, if you want me to wait for you on a ride out when you are running her in just say, - I owe you. Or best, go out of your own for the first few hundred miles.
If buying now ask about the new seats, - they have changed the comfort factor I believe.
You do know that there is a "S" version coming with Ohlins all round? - Gloss black with gold springy bits, ummmmmmm.

Only had the bloody volume right up..... SPOOKY :o
Good choice Roy, Jo rode on the back of the Multistrada when I test rode it and reckons it is loads more comfy than the ST4S, AND she could see over my head (I know that is important to Sandra) You won't believe how much fun a Multistrada is on the road, and Keefy can tell you how much fun they are on the track.
There are loads of bits available for them so you can continue in your normal way to improve and modify-I was talking to Neil Spalding on Friday and he has developed an 1100cc kit for them and has a special ECU...............;)

Didn't know there was an S version due...mmmmm...Ohlins, luverly.
I still find the 04 seat an instrument of torture designed by Madam Whiplash. Just before doing john O Groats to Lands End i fitted a sargent seat and what a bloody good investment according to my ar$e which i talk out of frequently,:D (before someone else says so).
The dreaded agonising numb bum didn't set in until about the 600 mile mark, and that was after 500 miles the previous day getting upto John O Groats.
My bum was well chuffed.
