Just trying to post a picture of my 900 Superlight for you guys to see. I have had this bike now for 3 years and I am very happy with it. Although I am wondering if I should swap for a monster? What do you think?

Another Superlight owner, and just down the A50 from me ?
and the exclusivity of an SL round these parts means you should keep it and forget about the monster ;););)

Cheers

Ian

Here is mine ?

Yours looks good Ian, where did you get the number '1' from on the back. Mine isnt fitted with this and would possibly look better with, Looks cool mate!

As far as I am aware the number 1 was fitted as standard from new as it features on all the brochure pics I have seen. so therefore I would say its a ducati part and available from ya dealer

The rear shock is standard but just has a 'pedigree' can wrapped round the reservior. the pipes are Baines, as is the clutch mod. I have owned the bike now for three years and these mods were done! I have fitted the braided hoses and the gold chain, and stripped and cleaned the bike from top to bottom.
But wonder if I am missing anything by not owning a Monster?
Do you think I should change the bike?

nope, stick with it.
if anything, get a monster to along side the SL just in case you don't like the monster, which might be a possibility.

Nope :D

Go and test ride a Monster from your friendly Ducati dealer if you feel the need!

Yep. Unfortunately though SuperLights aren't worth much these days. As a favour, and I'll be in trouble if the missus finds out, I can give you 500 quid to take it off your hands... You won't get a better offer elsewhere, honest.... :saint:

Thanks for the offer FiscusFish, however I think your misus will be a tad upset if she Knows you want to trade her and £500 for the Superlight. And she might get cold in my garrage!

I might try the monster for a test ride as you've all suggested.

Beautiful ;) One of my all time favourites. The Monsters are good fun but for me it'd be the SL everytime :D
