I would be interested to learn what you consider is / are the most influential:

1: book
2: album
3: person
4: place
5: event (in your life time)
6: film
7: historical event
8: discovery
9: other

I appreciate that for ever category I have chosen, there will be variables, so if your favourite book 1, is "Far from the madding crowd", but you feel that "The life of PHI" should get a mention, put it down as 1a. This way, if there is something beyond say "Dark side of the moon" is worth of a single mention, put as down as a suffix - 2a.

Keep it short and to the point please.
9 is for 1x thing you feel is important. That's personal

This is completely personal to me and other people may question why.... but I get the jist that you are looking for what has influenced me in my life ?? ( hope I am right )

Here goes..

1: book = The Green Mile ( Stephen King )
2: album = Pink Floyd- The Wall
3: person = My Mother
4: place = My home town ( I have never ventured far ! )
5: event (in your life time) = The birth of my son
6: film = Schindlers List
7: historical event = Both World Wars
8: discovery = Smiles cost nothing and in my line of work go a VERY long way !
9: other = ditto.... okay, treating people the way I want to be treated ... helps me through my days..

People may see some of these answers as somewhat shallow, but they are an insight into me as a person !
