View Full Version : The Dark Side
Just picked up my new 749dark today ,was sad to see my 748r go but progress stops for no one:D
Great day to pick it up as well,pi@>ing down, new tyres ,brakes, mud on the road after a considerate farmer couldn't be bothered cleaning off his tractor, thought i was off, less than 60miles on the clock!!
Still it's tucked up in the garage now safe and sound!!:bouncy:
How do you find the front end on the dark without a steering damper ?
Now im used to mine I feel the front is getting a bit twitchy.
tricky.

one question though ,what sort of revs in top are you pulling at 80?not sure whether my tacho is underreading(mine was showing 5k @80mph)
And you know if anyone does smoked lenses for the front/rear indicators rather than clear?

My revs are just above 5k from what I can recall when I was running in at 80mph.
I'm working with a friend at the moment trying to produce some new lenses for the front indicators. I'll post if were sucessful.
Tricky.
