I've just been hunting around on the 'net' for a few things and it appears that the PC Game Grand Theft Auto - can also be loaded with a Ducati 996 and of all things a 1000 DS :o
If i read the file right that is !!!
This set me wondering (with the winter night drawing in etc)...Which are best current bike games?
I still enjoy playing WSBK every now and then (wonder if they ever updated the circuits ???)
But I seem to remember the IOM TT game being highly touted earlier this year and if so - did it ever make it to the PC?
Finally.....I'm resisting as long as possible but I know eventually my daughter will 'demand' a games console of some type, so the two obvious questions...
Whats best for educational software ????
and which has the best bike games :lol::lol:

Grand Theft Auto - Vice City :D
Still the funniest thing ever to hop on a scooter and bomb about the city doing wheelies, stoppies, jumps and shooting cars!
But if you want a proper game, the MotoGP games are very, very nice but just a bit difficult.

I bought Microprose GP500 on eBay for less than a fiver (it's an oldie, and not available any more), and it's the most amazing game. It does take quite some practice, as Antonye said, but once mastered it's awesome. Do rolling stoppies, smoking burnouts etc! You can even back the bike into turns if you're REAL good! I've WSBK games too, but as a pure simulation they don't come close...
(TT Superbikes I think the new one is to be called. Released on PS2 on either Oct 15th or Nov 15th - not quite sure. If it lives up to the hype it'll be really something).

Bought stepson San Andreas on PS2, his has just unlocked the second island, it has got a massive mountain, which has a moto x track with quads and crossers etc. Bike wise, there is a bike that looks like 900SS and sounds it, 400 sports, 600 sports, naked 600 street fighter, chopper, moto x'er, goldwing style bike and a police bike.
Oh, and a plane that looks like a lear jet!
So far, it makes vice city look like a normal game, the world in which you play in is massive!
GTA San Andreas - Already a classic, but your a badass mofo in this one...
Pimped cars, a range of bikes, and you can even ride push bikes, BMX's choppers you name it

Hee Hee - managed to find a 'copy' of GP500 on this threads recomendations and it works a treat (even if I do have to boot my PC into Windows 98 only).
Cant believe how it is for almost 6 years old - I think my copy is flawed as the sound of the bike is naff but never mind. Game pad control and penalty for riding on rumble strip is a bit severe but great otherwise.
I've even found a PS2 version and an emulator program !!!! GOD only knows how that is supposed to work.
Thanks guys :smug:
ps - I's forgot just how blindingly fast a P4 machine can run under Win98 :D
My son (ahem) uses EA Sports Superbike 2001. Very good game, and it has Dukes. No 999's though.
