I know a few people on here have bullet cams rigged up on their bikes so hopefully you can answer a few questions for me. Well actually its for my mate who wants to buy a cam for his bro who is going to live in Canada.

Firstly there are lots of different focal lengths available, which should he go for? The cam will be used as a helmet cam for snow boarding and mountain biking. Second, are they waterproof? Obvioulsy he will be getting an NTSC one but is 480 lines okay? And what about connecting to the cam? Most of them appear to have a BNC connector while the cam has a 3.5mm plug. Do they come with adapters?

Cheers guys.

I've got one for sale, if anyone's interested? It uses the battery on the bike, so will need a seperate power supply if its to be used on a snowboard etc....

Its a highview electronics item, same as most guys use on here.

Although if the Desmo Due racing does kick-off, I might use it for that.

Hello Rockhopper, if you dont have Rattlers system then give me a shout, and have a look at my web site for ideas, the 480 tvl is about as good as it gets, that is basically what we supply for to TV companies.
