...although if your SPS had cast iron discs then SBK3's eat them up.

From memory, i think a lot of peeps use bendix 'something or other' with the iron rotors.

Paul I prefer the Ferodo CP911 stars with the cast discs, but would like to try the Bendix ones at some time.
Stainless discs and I use either Ferodos, SBK3s or EBC HHs the latter of which have been fitted to the TT bikes for the last 3 years.

Hello,

I run bendix pads, a cheap mod But well worth the expensive.
for me a big difference in stopping power.

standard sps full floaters - iron I think(?) - so is it best to steer clear of certain makes/types?

SBK3's don't like the cast rotors...........or they do 'cause they eat them :sniff:
Bendix MF compound work fine with the cast rotors and seem to perform extremely well.
Price is good to against the SBK3's. About £18 a caliper I think

Paul, EBC HH pads on mine, but then I've got the stainless discs :(

HH's are great, silly stopping power at the Rock' and on the road too :)

Nelly got me some carbon matrix pads to go with the GP's and can say after yesterday's outing at Snetters that they are phenomenal. Not sure how well they would work on the road though, I get the feeling that they probably wouldn't get hot enough.

I've been racing on them all year, Yeti. As you found out they are superb. As I posted before, not really for road use, though.
