Thruxton is doing well to get any bike racing. The area is very well controlled by NIMBY's who do not want any bikes racing there, - and yes it is a circuit miles from anybody and again with an airfield close by but you know the British mentality when it comes to motorbikes! Blame the front cover of this months Superbike magazine.
