Hi Everone
I wonder if someone could give me some advise. I currently have a 748R which is a 2001 model. I have lost one of the floating washers that attach the brake disk to the carrier. I have visited my local dealer who informed me that I can't buy a single washer and need to order a complete disk £480. They also told me that I would be better off for safety reasons to buy two disks as they are matched as a pair ?????. This seems to be a very expensive answer to a tiny washer that can't cost more than a few quid at the most. Would anyone happen to know if this is true and if not would anyone know where I can purchase a floating washer?
Your advise would be a great help.
I would also like to know if this is a normal occurance or I have just been unlucky. Thanks in advance.
Scott.

Is it a washer or a circlip?

Take one of the others off, and go to your local hardware store, and get one for about 10p

I looks like it has been pressed at the Ducati factory when the disk was made, and there are no cir-clips apparent. I will take a look tonight and see if I can carefully remove another one. Thanks for the advise anyway. Scott

Many Thanks Nelly
I will be calling you over the next couple of days to order a set. I guess I just call the number on the cornerspeed website? Excellent advise and an easy solution that has saved me a lot of cash. Cheers.
