Currently riding a four year old ST2 with Sigma performance chip, but what I rearly want is a nice 916, but at 6ft 4ins tall would It be a lost or uncomfortable venture, any tall members out there riding a sports bike.

If you fancy a 916 why not get an ST4 or even an ST4S then you get the best of both worlds.

I'm 6' 3" and used to be 17.5 stone (been dieting so lost a bit of weight but still as tall!) Beer belly gets in the way a bit.

I've had ST4 and ST4S and used to think i was too big for a 996. Finally bit the bullet and bought a 996 this year and have no regrets at all. Have also used it for a 2000 mile in a week trip abroad with no probs other than kness getting a bit cramped at end of the day. Higher screen works wonders if you're tall, and my bike also has helibars fitted which makes the riding position far more comfortable (this is more because i've got a well knackered wrist).

Wish i'd bought a 916/996 years ago.

Seriously though rearsets and adjustable handlebars should make it acceptable.

I'm 6' 1'' and 14 stone and have no problems on my 748. In fact being tall usually means longer arms which helps with the riding position.

Yellow bikes have a better riding positon, Red ones are known for being very uncomfortable.

No...

Which makes me think that my feet are too small or im doing something wrong . I cant imagne how my feet could touch the rear wheel in motion hanging off or not.
