My 2001 M600 was recalled for the clutch slave cylinder to be chanced since there was a prob with them leaking clutch fulid.

now i've got a 2000 748 I was wondering if that was subject to the same recall and if so how can I chech it's been done

James

p.s. M600 could be up for sale, since the 748 is taking over.

Phone ducati UK if its a UK bike, they should be able to tell you if the necessary has been done.

I would recommend the modified slave cylinder which makes everything easier anyway certainly for my dainty hands:D

James matey, you really need to think carefully about flogging the monnie...

Are you sure there isn't something else you'd like to do with it?
Have you not heard of DesmoDue??

The recall was for 2001 bikes.

All ducati slave cylinders leak don't they? I have just replaced mine on a 1993 900ss. Some lessons are never learnt. (just like flaking crank cases - they all seem to do that too!)

I think Spareshack do a ducati alternative slave cyclinder which also reduces lever pressure.
