Just saw the post "new rims" and sumwun mentioned steering dampers.........
What experience have you guys got of trying to find a decent one for SS's
I must admit to having had the need once or twice (especially over the "mountain" to wishing I had one fitted

so 900ssie needs steering damper
where from
how does it fit
does it do a decent job
how much

Yep, Matris are good - along with Ohlins, White Power (WP), Sprint and the Toby I went for check out my last piccy on this post:

Not sure if your will be the same fitting but, I'm well impressed with the quality.

There was a BLUE one going on Ebay recently but I think they didnt sell and have been withdrawn :(

He especially wants a 916 across the yoke style one rather than the type which mounts to the frame beside your left knee.

BFM seem to be having a clearout - I'll phone them tomorrow about a few things and will also ask about dampers. Will U2U the result either way.
