Have managed to find probably the last Nokia 6310i in existance but the software I have won't let me transfer anything other than my contacts etc.

Can anyone send me a "Ducati" operator logo? If you can help, U2U and I'll give you the number.

Any chance of being able to obtain one of these for myself as well please?

It will look lovely with my Supersport wallpaper, that currently has an awful "02-UK" superimosed over it.

What phone have you got Phill?

If you've got a wallpaper there are plenty of ways to get rid of the operator logo altogether.

Where did you obtain a 6310i? I can't seem to find one anywhere.... do Nokia realise what a mistake they've made stopping it???

I "discovered" one with O2 and persuaded them to let me have it. There are some on e-bay but at what cost i don't know.

Why the hell you would want one is beyond me - until you've tried the later colour phones with all the same features but which work twice as fast, you luddites really don't know what you're missing!

For one thing the 6310 is a sensible size... it's got buttons on it I can get my fingers on, unlike all these tiny phones that are around today.... It does everything I need it to do, I can read the clear screen which is not so easy on these fancy colour screens with fancy wallpapers...

Yes, I'm a luddite, that's why i've still got a 996 rather than a 999.....:lol::lol:

What phone do I have? Umm........

I think it's a Nokia 6610.

It's the one that folds out to a complete mini-qwerty keyboard. Which I will just mention, is ace for texting and so much better than predictive text.

Use your phone Services and goto this bookmark:
http://www.ecom-secure.co.uk/wap/7210/

There's a link in there to remove your operator logo.

These guys are always good for phones and stuff. Looks expensive to me for SIM free phone though unless you go contract.
