The rules did, in that you can only fit a big bore kit to the 583 motor

not as far as i read, although i may well be wrong. i will read them again when i get in work tomorrow.
i understand that the limit is 675. doesnt specify different limits for different models.
There arent any big bore kits for the 620 motors only a 750 kit :puzzled:

But Dicki is right it looks like the rule have changed since The original concept
http://217.199.188.40/xmb/viewthread.php?tid=12765
where it states
1) Eligable bikes
The primary requirement is for us to acheive at least 25 bikes to take to a grid. At the moment if the majority of entrants wish to use only 583cc carbed models, then we dont have a problem. As long as we acheive our numbers
If we need to include 620cc fuel injected ones to make up numbers, then we need to allow the 583cc ones to have a big-bore kit or run two classes. I will be able to confirm the two classes within the grid once we have seen the ACU at end of the month.
So under the latest wording you can bore your 620 model to 675cc, JE Pistons are quite helpful when it comes to small quantities of one off piston kits, so anybody willing to spend the money can run a 675ie according to the rules
Hmmm...
Big bore kit would be a bonus, as would a power commander and a one lap head start!
I think we've got everything else covered(??)

Nope - the can touches down before the header - only a problem on right-hand corners though!
My desirables list:
1) Ohlins rear shock
2) High level race can
3) Lower gearing
4) Big-bore kit
5) Twin front disk
6) Dynoket kit & filter
7) Carbon fairing
8) Mag wheels
9) Braided lines
10) Steering damper
My actual list:
1) Clean rear shock
2) Take baffles out of standard can
3) lubricate and adjust chain
4) New piston rings and de-coke
5) New brake pads
6) Clean filter & cut airbox
7) Remove fairing
8) Paint wheels
9) Change fluids
10) Loose arms
Of course, the biggest improvement will come from track experience - nothing makes you faster than actually knowing where you are going!
