Price seems far too low for a 999, plus there's the pre-approved buyers thing.
I'll happily delete this thread if it's genuine...

Weird....I'm with you....anything that looks TOO GOOD etc.
But - the guys profile looks good as well - hes not sold too much but has bought a little bit.
However, reflectors on forks and small no. plate make me suspect the bike is in the USA. But he does also show the frame stamp !!!
There again - I'd never buy anythign that expensive anyway without:
1) Making contact with the seller
2) Making damn sure I was happy with his credentials etc.

I cant actually see the reflectors on the forks which is usually a give away but the back ground doesnt look english does it coupled with the poor use of english and the "accepted payment method only" scream "SCAM!!"
There are a couple of us on ebay who have set up second accounts to bid on auctions like thisand stop other poeple getting cought. I think the scammers have got wise to this and thats why they have started do the pre approved bidders only routine.
Probably a highjacked ID to get the good feedback.
eBay's removed this item now anyway......
But, I wanted to find out if he was a dodgy scammer so I emailed him. Even though the listing was in Euros, the bike's location was supposedly London. I asked to come around for an inspection, but he said no he was too busy. I asked to pay with cash on collection, but he said no he wanted to use "Square Trade".
There's your answer I think.......

yes....hi-jacked ID sounds right as most of the transactions were dated 2003.
Good spot.
WOW - removed already - Ebay seem to be tidying up their act from the last time I pointed out a scam.
Good work guys.

Hmmm ... I got a similar email from a guy selling the 600ss on ebay about being "too busy" to let me go and see the bike...
