600ss 2 into 1 collector

Hi peeps, sorry if this is a question that's been asked a hundred times already..... But I am looking for a replacement 2 into 1 exhaust collector for my 1994 600ss. My current one is rusted through and will no doubt fail the MOT which is due in a few weeks.
Does anyone know of anyone who sells or fabricates them? I'd even be happy with secondhand one!
I have looked for these on eBay, but all I seem to be able to find are the 2 into 2 systems that are found on the 750 and 900ss'. Is it possible to get one of those systems and fit it to the 600ss?

Yes you can get the 750 and 900 systems to fit the 600SS, NOT the ones from the Injection models as the silencer mounts exit at a different angle making the silencers sit in a different place.

Along with the left hand silencer you also need the header flanges and collets to fits it to the heads.
On my Desmo Due race bike I have a 900SS Exhaust modified with a new 2 into 1 collector that I had made

Seems a little expensive to me, but I guess beggars can't be choosers!
It appears that parts for the 600ss, especially exhausts and tanks are as rare as Unicorn pi55! :D

Trouble with the 600SS it was the only bike in the range with a 2 into 1 and unlike the 600 Monster they stopped making it 3 years earlier so less of them about. Same goes for the tanks and many have been rusting out


As for price, they do come along cheaper but are few and far between.
going to a 750SS or 900SS system will probably cost you somwhere in the same region if not more

Left Hand silencer (and possibly matching right one)

I have some header pipes which Senna canibalised into a 2:1 for my monster, about to bin them, dont know if any good or you could cobble something together but if you want them you can come get them!!

To be fair, that's an almost mint exhaust system and you could fit it without having to spend hours cleaning it yourself - how much is that worth?
Compare it to the price of a new system and it's still cheap ;)
